Position based in our Frankfurt office 3 days a week.


OVERVIEW

As a Sales Director you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth expand market presence and build strong client relationships. You will manage high-performing sales teams and ensure the achievement of ambitious sales targets. This is a strategic and hands‑on role requiring leadership sales expertise and business acumen to deliver results in a highly competitive market.


Responsibilities

* Sales Leadership & Strategy:
o Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
o Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion.
o Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
* Team Management & Development:
o Lead, mentor and coach a team of sales professionals ensuring high performance.
o Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results, collaboration and innovation.
o Recruit, onboard and train top-tier sales talent.
* Revenue Growth & Business Development:
o Drive new business acquisition while managing and expanding existing key accounts.
o Develop strong relationships with C‑level executives and decision‑makers.
o Lead complex sales negotiations and close high‑value deals.
* Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with Marketing, Product and Customer Success teams to align sales strategies.
o Provide insights and feedback on market trends, competition and customer needs.
o Present sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.


Attributes & Skills (Requirements)

* Fluent German and English
* Experience: 10 years in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in Consumer electronics, consumer goods or FMCG.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding multi‑million‑pound revenue targets.
* Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute long‑term sales strategies.
* Negotiation & Closing: Strong expertise in managing complex high‑value deals.
* Team Leadership: Experience leading and scaling high‑performing sales teams.
* Market & Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of market dynamics, trends and competitive landscape.
* CRM & Sales Tech: Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
* Excellent Communication: Strong presentation, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
