Overview The Chief Operating Officer will lead and coordinate all operational activities, ensuring successful execution of complex infrastructure and construction projects. These projects include electrical, mechanical, and special installations for major institutional clients such as hospitals, airports, and public or industrial infrastructure. The role is crucial for managing the project portfolio, optimizing operational processes, and implementing efficient project control structures to achieve operational excellence and financial performance. Responsibilities The COO's primary responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing ongoing projects, implementing operational strategies, and optimizing construction site organization. The role requires supervising project managers and directors, monitoring project performance in cost, timeline, and quality, and intervening with corrective measures when necessary. Financial control is also essential, including monitoring overall project profitability, approving corrective measures for cost overruns, and conducting financial performance analyses. The COO will also manage subcontractor approval and performance and implement risk mitigation strategies to resolve contractual disputes. Qualifications Applicants should have a degree in fields such as Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related technical areas. A minimum of 15 years of experience in executing complex construction or installation projects, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role, is required. Experience managing large-scale projects exceeding 50M and a strong background in operational management and project financial management are essential.
