As a Test Engineer for novel LH2 systems, you support the development, commissioning and testing of hydrogen technologies, ensuring safe operations, accurate data analysis and continuous improvement of test means. * Ensure alignment between test needs and overall testing strategy; derive test means requirements from test objectives
* Support and/or drive test bench development and design
* Follow up on SUT (System Under Test) development and validate its readiness for testing
* Install and commission test benches and SUTs in the test facility
* Ensure alignment with design office for test requests and engineering inputs
* Define detailed test procedures from test requirements
* Operate test benches and run equipment/system tests; ensure continuous safe operations
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on both bench and SUT side
* Operate and troubleshoot real‑time computing, data acquisition systems, aircraft data buses and automated test setups
* Perform data processing and analysis; assess system performance versus requirements; prepare final test reports
* Set up and perform data analytics tasks to extract insights for engineering and design teams
* Ensure high operational reliability of test means through continuous improvements and maintenance
* Flexibility to work across multiple activities: bench design, testing, and system design
Profil
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
* Strong knowledge of Python and experience with Google Workspace
* Experience with test analysis tools (e.g. FlexPro, MATLAB)
* Background in testing, system integration or hydrogen/novel energy systems desirable
* Analytical mindset, hands‑on approach and willingness to work across different technical domains
* English: business fluent, German: a plus
