Key Responsibilities Perform sanctions list screenings and document verification in line with international regulations Ensure accurate and timely compliance checks to prevent legal and operational risks Provide expert support for business transactions related to customs and export control laws Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and compliance procedures Conduct tariff classification for goods in accordance with legal requirements Maintain and update customs‑ and export control‑related master data Work with systems such as SAP, MIAS, and platforms supporting German and European entities, including JH Profishop (DE & CH) Assist in monitoring and maintaining AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification compliance Requirements Degree in Law, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field (customs specialization preferred) Minimum 5+ years of experience in customs and export control Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, and sanctions compliance Experience with SAP ERP, SAP GTS, or other ERP systems Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Access) Fluent German (written and spoken) – mandatory Jungheinrich was founded in 1953 in Hamburg by Dr. Friedrich Jungheinrich as a family business.
