Goal of function: The Extrusion Engineer (m/f/d) plays a key role in defining global standards for extrusion technologies, driving quality improvements and cost efficiencies through strategic financial analysis and planning. They also lead or support global initiatives to harmonize and optimize preventive maintenance programs for extrusion equipment and processes. Your responsibilities: Define and support with data the definition of the standards for extrusion processes and extrusion equipment Define and update FAT and SAT extrusion equipment criteria and FAT/SAT protocol Create the standard user requirement specification related to extrusion lines Conduct research, studies and provide new technical solutions regarding extrusion process Propose budgets & CAPEX requests and manages projects accordingly Support in solving extrusion production issues by involving the right internal and external stakeholders Drive new technology evaluations or new solutions in order to improve the quality and reduce the costs of the extrusion productions Your profile: Min. Bachelor in Science, in particular within the field of Industrial engineering Fluent English and one additional language (Italian, German, French, Chinese, Spanish, Turkish, Serbian) 5 years relevant work experience, min. 3 years in extrusion processes Project management experience Experience with plastic extrusion processes and equipment, specifically within medical device manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on compliance with GMP standards Knowledge in basic lean manufacturing tool Experience with Siemens PLCs is desirable, along with knowledge of motion control, PLC programming, pneumatic automation circuits, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings Our offer for you: There is a lot you can discover at Fresenius Medical Care, because we have a lot to offer.
