Job Description
* During your Master thesis, you will actively support the development of a future generation of particulate matter sensors and gain a broad insight into professional research and development work in industry.
* You will learn the basics of experimental design and apply them to data from your own lab experiments.
* In addition, this project will address interesting electrochemical mechanisms and phenomena at the forefront of current research and beyond.
* In particular, the project involves planning and conducting of lab experiments, programming scripts for automated data analysis and interpretation of experimental data in the context of complex electrochemical mechanisms.
Qualifications
* Education: studies in the field of Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or comparable with excellent grades
* Experience and Knowledge: programming, preferably experience in Python or similar language, lab work, data analysis, (physical) chemistry
* Personality and Working Practice: you have a high level of motivation and can work independently
* Languages: good in English, German is an advantage

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months
