The incumbent contributes to internal and external medical education, information exchange and support while gathering medical insights and supporting research / data generation initiatives.What You'll Do:Provide field-based medical scientific support to KMEs and PAGs in GermanyDevelop and hold medical scientific presentations and leads discussions with expertsSupport and execute medical education activities and medical scientific projects in collaboration with medical scientific communityDisseminate high quality complex scientific information and provide innovative medical education contentWork with local patient organizations to educate about the disease area and advances in patient careSupport therapeutic experts in developing concepts and protocols for SRAs / IITs / registries that support orphan drug therapiesAppropriately interact and collaborate with other internal functions (e.g. sales, market access or pharmacovigilanceSupport and execute internal education and training on disease area and treatmentMentor for new colleaguesStay up to date with therapy advances, current research, medical scientific knowledge and detailed knowledge on Biogen products & relevant Disease AreasUnderstand the current status and identify opportunities for evolving standards of care in Rare DiseasesSupports communication around expanded access programs (EAPs) for therapies under development.Who You Are:The ideal candidate for this role should be a highly knowledgeable medical expert with a deep understanding of relevant therapeutic areas and products. She / he needs to be used to managing cross-functional collaborations while staying updated on scientific data and innovations.
