We are seeking a motivated Working Student to support the rollout of our SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solution within SAP S/4HANA landscape. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, data owners, and IT teams to help ensure the successful implementation and adoption of master data governance processes and tools. This position offers hands-on experience in data governance, SAP S/4HANA, enterprise data management, and digital transformation projects within an international environment.
Your challenge in detail
You will support the SAP MDG rollout project within the SAP S/4HANA environment via assisting the project team in planning, coordinating, and tracking rollout activities
You will support data governance initiatives, including data quality assessments, data cleansing, and master data validation
Additionally, you will assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations
You will assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from key stakeholders, business process analysis and documentation related to master data creation, maintenance, and governance
You will support the creation of user training materials, process documentation, and communication content
You will monitor project actions, risks, issues, and follow-up activities
Last but not least, you will participate in workshops, project meetings, and stakeholder discussions
Your competence is in demand
Current full-time studies in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
Strong interest in enterprise systems, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience with data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills in English, German or other language is a plus
Basic understanding of SAP solutions, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and familiarity with master data concepts such as Business Partner, Material Master, Supplier, Customer, or Finance Master Data is a plus
