For temporary employment of 12 months Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a
Avionics Test Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
1. Design, develop and build test platforms to effectively validate avionics hardware
2. Design and supervise test procedures for wire harnesses
3. Develop test procedures for integrated stage checkouts
4. Develop tools for flight data emulation, test data storage and analysis
5. Use and troubleshooting of prototype avionics devices
Your Qualifications
6. Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related discipline
7. Fluent in spoken and written English (all day-to-day activities will be conducted in English)
8. Knowledge of environmental test procedures for avionics devices including associated standards (DO-160, MIL-810)
9. Experience with electronics design procedures, manufacturing, AOI, ICTs and FCTs
10. Experience in working with electrical test equipment ( oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
11. Experience with object-oriented Phyton to control and automate test equipment and analyze data
12. Experience in data storage and visualization solutions
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous and challenging environment
14. Ability to work hands-on with avionics and IT hardware
