Beschreibung

Your Job:

1. Review recent research activities in the field of energy system integration and port electrification
2. Identify methods for the coordination of multi-energy systems
3. Develop a coordination strategy specific to the use case of the Port of Trieste
4. Get familiar with the co-simulation tool for multi-energy systems developed at the ICE-1
5. Test the proposed strategy using the real electrical and thermal profiles, as well as the electrical and thermal schemes, of the Port of Trieste
6. Conduct part of the research activity at the University of Trieste in collaboration with Prof. Daniele Bosich and his research team

Your Profile:

7. Excellent university degree (Bachelor) and enrolled in a Masters in Mechanical Engineering
8. Strong mathematical background
9. Professional competence: good knowledge and experience in programming ( Python, Matlab) is desirable
10. Interests in issues about decarbonization and multi-energy systems
11. Excellent ability for cooperative collaboration
12. Good knowledge of written and spoken English (German is not necessary)
