Who you'll become - Solution Advisor Responsibilites:
A Solution Advisor (f/m/d) works closely with our customers and prospects to identify and solve business challenges and meet their strategic objectives using SAP solutions. As a part of the sales team, a Solution Advisor is the “subject matter expert” responsible for the functional and technical knowledge within the sales cycle. A Solution Advisor provides deal support by participating in discovery sessions, executive meetings and presentations and delivers software demonstrations that help the customer understand SAP’s unique value proposition. In addition to deal support, the Solution Advisor participates in marketing events to generate demand, leads Design Thinking sessions, and collaborates with the broader sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at existing accounts.
What you’ll bring
* 2-3 years of work experience with a strong foundation in technical and business processes, exposure to relevant technologies/solutions, and excellent communication or customer-facing skills.
* Multi-dimensional experience (e.g., global experience, leadership role, entrepreneurial/self-starter, volunteerism, etc.).
* Effective communication skills, including fluency in English and German.
* Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics; ability to identify business problems solvable with AI (from basic data skills to advanced machine learning expertise).
* Ability to apply cloud strategy knowledge to deliver technical insights for scalable, long-term cloud solutions.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including passion, curiosity, listening skills, professional presence, empathy, and a “can-get-it-done” mentality.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and business functions.
* Strong business acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
* Willingness to delve into functional and technical details to understand the holistic picture.

SAP’s employees across different regions are enabled to do their best job with the right mix of office and remote work according to country-specific guidelines and regulations. In general, our hybrid work setup consists of three days a week in the office or on-site with customers or partners.
We are planning a practical and immersive portion of our program, which will have participants spend between 4 and 6 weeks, spread across two trips, in San Ramon, California. This experience is designed to provide unparalleled hands-on learning and networking opportunities. *Please note that this is still in the planning phase, and the final decision will be confirmed by the first quarter of 2026. We will ensure that this information is communicated promptly and that sufficient time is provided for necessary preparations.
During intensive phases of the program, it is critical that all participants are fully engaged and present to ensure maximum learning and success. As such, vacation will not be approved during some critical times of the program.
