The MaterialDigital (PMD) platform supports industry and science in the digitalization of materials. The aim is to establish a digital infrastructure for innovative projects and an integrated virtual material data room. The position is located at the interface of interoperable software solutions and modern materials research. The resulting synergies will lead to the development of new materials, their targeted optimization and more efficient production processes. Your tasks:
Participation in the further development of the BMFTR-funded MaterialDigital (PMD) platform, especially in the areas of knowledge transfer, networking and public relations
Participation in the development of innovative digital concepts and creation of target group-oriented information materials
Co-development of scalable strategies and communication processes to specifically address and involve the community
Expansion and further development of sustainable knowledge transfer structures and knowledge documentation systems
Support in networking and establishing cooperation with stakeholders from materials science, materials engineering and industry
Completed scientific university degree (diploma/master's degree) in natural or material sciences, computer science, industrial engineering, media sciences or a related subject
Experience in scientific work and project work, ideally in the field of materials science
You are interested in knowledge transfer and have already gained some practical experience in this area
You have knowledge of research coordination and science management
Basic knowledge of (research) data management is desirable
Experience in (scientific) networking activities, public relations and communication at the interface between science, politics and administration is an advantage
Very good, precise and addressee-oriented verbal and written communication skills in German or English as well as a basic willingness to travel round off your profile
Good communication and information skills, goal-oriented and structured way of working, initiative / commitment, ability to work in a team and willingness to cooperate
