About the Role
The Yard Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing yard activities in alignment with dock, receive, and ship teams to guarantee efficient processing and minimize potential customer experience impacts.
* Collaborate with site leadership to enhance on-time performance of trucks entering and leaving yards, as well as safety and customer satisfaction metrics.
* Promote communication among multiple stakeholders to streamline truck flow within the yard, ensuring timely arrival and departure of trucks.
* Responsible for reporting yard performance to local site leaders, identifying root causes of structural issues, and driving resolution with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives, incorporating Lean tools to optimize operations.
* Work under diverse time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying performed activities.
