One of our key clients are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Category Manager IT to join their growing procurement team in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising the software category. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the software landscape and strong negotiation skills to drive cost savings and value for the organisation.
Category Management: Lead the development and execution of category strategies that align with overall company goals. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement, including supply chain disruptions, contractual risks, and compliance issues.
Use data to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management,, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, category management, or a related role within a corporate environment. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
