We launched a new baggage-claims service for lost, delayed, or destroyed luggage in June 2025. We operate in the EU, UK, and other international markets, focusing on protecting air passenger rights globally. We have processed over 500,000 claims for clients from 221 countries, with a 4.7-star rating from 25,550+ reviews. We currently operate in 21 languages (with 9 more forthcoming this year) and are pursuing international expansion with a goal of one million claims by the end of 2026.ResponsibilitiesAct as the legal representative of AirAdvisor in Germany, handling all legal matters and claims filed within the jurisdiction. If feasible, assist in setting up a law firm in Germany, including corporate structuring and related formalities.Pre-court collections and out-of-court settlements.Prepare and file batches of approximately 200+ new claims monthly in German courts against various airlines to recover:a) Compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004 and/or Turkish SHY Regulation for flight delays, cancellations, and denied boarding.b) Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses under EU261/2004 and/or the Montreal Convention.c) Ticket refunds owed to passengers under applicable legal frameworks.d) Handle baggage-related claims under the Montreal Convention and/or Warsaw Convention.Respond comprehensively and assertively to airline legal defenses, including substantive and procedural challenges.Lead the enforcement of court judgments, including initiating enforcement proceedings and coordinating with bailiffs or enforcement authorities when necessary.Engage in court-led settlement negotiations and, where applicable, represent AirAdvisor’s interests in securing favorable in-court settlements.Maintain complete and accurate legal case files, ensuring compliance with ethical, data protection, and professional standards; conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform best practices in airline and consumer rights litigation.Stay informed about developments in consumer protection law, aviation regulations, EU regulations, and judicial precedents to provide updated, authoritative legal advice and representation.Pursue legal remedies, including appeals where appropriate, and advocate for legislative changes if strategically feasible.Support optimization and automation of claims-management workflows using legal technology, including AI-based tools, to improve efficiency and scalability.Identify and propose new civil-claims business opportunities viable under British law with low-value, high-volume litigation potential (areas may include, but are not limited to: bank and financial disputes, labor law-related claims, etc.).Conduct cross-jurisdictional legal research across EU markets to identify precedents and best practices that may be adapted for Germany in complex claim scenarios.Represent AirAdvisor in local media and coordinate with the PR Manager to leverage public relations opportunities around landmark rulings or critical developments.Review and vet content as needed to help build local trust and boost authority.Advocate for passenger and consumer rights within the airline and travel industry.Soft skillsProfessional, ambitious, and open to testing AI optimization solutions and new approaches to claims management.Self-aware, honest, and able to take responsibility for mistakes while driving continuous improvement.Result-oriented with a proven ability to deliver fast and make a significant business impact.Detail- and initiative-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking skills.Independent and capable of working without constant supervision.Devotion to achieving customer satisfaction and willingness to go above and beyond to meet goals.Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.We offerRemote-first culture with flexible start and end times; your hours can be tracked in our time-tracking application, allowing flexible daily adjustments.Paid Time Off and public holidays.Annual pay review and performance-based bonuses.Professional growth opportunities through global expansion and new market entry.Dynamic work environment and the chance to apply your skills in new ways.Supportive team culture with smart, passionate, and collaborative colleagues.International team across 11 countries.Job Type: Indefinite-term freelancing contract / service agreement or a B2B contract.If you're ready to take on a high-impact role in a fast-growing company, apply now and join us in fighting for airline passenger rights globally!Our Recruitment ProcessApplication screening: If your profile matches our current business needs, our Talent Acquisition Manager will invite you to the HR interview.HR interview: Please research our company and industry, and be prepared to discuss your achievements.
