Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group), a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for IT Systems & Network Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, working directly on Airbus IT, cybersecurity and infrastructure projects .
Locations include Hamburg region, Baviera and other sites across the country.

What you will do
* Administer and support Windows/Linux systems, networks and Airbus on‑prem infrastructures .
* Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and cybersecurity controls.
* Support the implementation of Airbus and BSI/CERT security standards .
* Participate in DevOps‑related tasks (automation, deployments, CI/CD support).
* Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python .
* Collaborate with Airbus teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting and documentation for operational environments.
What we’re looking for:
* Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar
* Experience in systems and network administration
* Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (Airbus/BSI guidelines are a plus)
* Exposure to DevOps tools or automation
* Experience with monitoring tools.
* Willingness to work in rotating schedules and occasional travel.
* C1 English mandatory.
* German C1 (a plus).
* Applicants must hold EU citizenship.
