Cloud Expert Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our IT strategy and delivering cloud-based solutions.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Manage Build Activities: Oversee build activities, ensuring successful transition to service mode and efficient resource allocation.
* Incident Resolution and User Support: Handle incident resolution, user requests, propose improvements, provide training, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
* Promote IT Strategy: Contribute to defining and updating IT policies, SLAs, KPIs, and align with business goals and compliance standards.
* Cloud Environment Management: Manage and secure cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Entra ID, RBAC, IAM, DLP policies, licensing, and resource efficiency.
* Process Improvements: Implement modernization strategies using Azure capabilities, monitor performance, detect issues proactively, and optimize cost and scalability.
* Data Exchange Analysis: Analyze and understand data exchanges to resolve complex integration challenges and support strategic system modernization.
* Technical Cooperation: Foster effective technical cooperation across departments and business units, serving as a central point of contact between internal teams, clients, and external consultants.
* Communication and Training: Clearly communicate technical solutions, governance updates, and project statuses to stakeholders, while enhancing your expertise and providing training to peers.
* Travel Requirements: Travel regularly to engage with teams and stakeholders, providing assistance beyond primary responsibilities when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Advanced Azure Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud and Power Platform, including Azure Integration Services, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
* Hands-on Experience: Have hands-on experience with cloud optimization, capacity management, and performance tuning in large-scale Azure environments.
* Governance Policy Development: Proven ability to develop and enforce governance policies within Microsoft platforms, with strong expertise in IAM, RBAC, and DLP best practices.
* Compliance Framework Understanding: Solid understanding of compliance frameworks and data protection regulations, e.g., GDPR, SOC 2 Type II (ISAE 3000), and ISO/IEC 27001.
* Troubleshooting and Optimization: Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in cost and resource optimization.
* Demonstrated Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in security, governance, and capacity management within cloud environments.
* Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills to align IT teams and stakeholders on governance, integration, and digital transformation strategies.
* Training and Documentation: Experience delivering training sessions and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
* Minimum 3 Years Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience managing Microsoft cloud platforms such as Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365.
* Mandatory Certifications: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are mandatory.
* Familiarity with AWS and Video Production: Familiarity with AWS and knowledge of integration challenges in video/film production, licensing, and distribution are considered desirable.

We are Digital Workplace Services (DWS), a central competence center for Cloud Workplace and Identity & Access Management (IAM). Our team delivers full services lifecycles to RTL Group and its Business Units: Strategic Studies, Governance Policies, Projects and Programs, Expert Support and Advisory Services. We aim to federate and optimize collaboration across technology stacks in a complex context of multiple BU's, tenants, AD's, workplaces, BYOD, and typologies of users, reducing Shadow IT and Security risks by offering/enforcing referenced alternatives or by supporting compliance.
