Area of responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws at both national and international level.
2. Oversee a team of 4 with Training, coaching and guidance in customs-related topics and procedures
3. Preparing and accompanying audits by the customs administration
4. As a direct contact person, you will assume responsibility for operational customs matters, process enquiries, solve problems and support internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, purchasing and logistics).
5. In day-to-day business, you will be responsible for technical planning and organization. (e.g. issuing instructions for import customs clearance to service providers and preparing and monitoring export declarations)
6. Part of your area of responsibility is advising and coordinating on all customs law issues (complex and special legal issues such as opening new warehouse locations, E2E customs processes, R&D with regard to customs value relevance and licences)
7. You are responsible for the authorization management of the Cybex Group, including authorization requirements
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customs-related projects and initiatives, contributing your expertise to achieve project goals
Profile of qualification:
9. Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
10. 3 years of experience in customs compliance, import/export operations, or a similar role
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in customs documentation
12. Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
13. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
14. Proficiency in using SAP & AEB
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of customs-related topics
16. Fluent in German, good knowledge of English
