Facility Management Area Manager Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facility Management Area Manager to join our dynamic team.
* Self-management of asset, property and equipment data in our building management software.
* Planning, organization and coordination of maintenance needs and ensuring compliance with maintenance and inspection intervals.
* Selection and appointment of service providers considering both professional and economic aspects.
* Overseeing and monitoring buildings and infrastructure.
* Training and support for external contractors working on technical installations.
* Checking, evaluating and documenting service and maintenance work.
* Checking and verifying invoices from a technical and financial perspective.
* Processing and handling reports of disturbances.
* Project management and commissioning of small-scale construction measures (tendering).
* Active risk management at the portfolio and object level.
* Reporting to senior management.
As a successful candidate, you will possess:
* A completed technical training program or equivalent qualification such as a master's degree or technician's certificate.
* Several years of experience in facility management.
* Quick understanding of different technical components in building infrastructure.
* Proficient skills in MS Office.
* High IT affinity and familiarization with GLT software (e.g. Desigo CC or GiraHome) and administration software for technical object management (e.g. TOM).
* Structured approach and high level of self-organization.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Cost-conscious thinking and action.
* Valid driving license (Class B).
