In your new position as Software Developer / Engineer Deutsche Börse Group is one of the largest exchange organizations and market infrastructure providers worldwide – and information technology is our backbone. The position is located in the Clearing IT department where we develop and maintain the clearing systems for Europe’s leading central counterparty clearing house and a world leader in risk management and post-trade services. Our software engineers engage in a complex technical and functional environment. Your responsibilities:
1. Analyse requirements, identify functional gaps, and develop solutions for the Central Counterparty (CCP) system of DBG
2. Contribute to system design discussions and provide robust technical solutions.
3. Identify design gaps, including resilience and failover weaknesses, and implement improvements.
4. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software for the Securities Clearing System.
5. Implement functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
6. Perform code reviews, maximize unit test coverage, and proactively prevent and resolve technical issues.
7. Analyse and resolve code quality and security issues identified by SonarQube and Fortify.
8. Implement and maintain upgrades to the system’s technology stack.
9. Drive process automation using CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins) to enhance development efficiency.
10. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Your profil:
11. University Degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology.
12. Well Experience on development with Java, Python, Spring Boot, service oriented Microservices Architecture.
13. Must have experience in DevOps practices like Automation, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration & Delivery, and Monitoring.
14. Expert level J2EE/Java with Microservices background preferably in Spring boot, Spring cloud. And solid experience in API design and APIs gateway.
15. Experience with Spring framework and Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
16. Strong Knowledge and experience in messaging And Queuing Protocols e.g. AMQP.
17. Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. CI/CD, automation etc.)
18. Expertise working on Cloud Platforms (e.g.: GCP) using infrastructure as services.
19. Expertise architecting and developing highly reliable, fault-tolerant distributed applications with focus on performance and scale.
20. Good understanding of software engineering frameworks, tools, and processes.
21. Ability to bring best practices and standards to the project.
22. Knowledge of understanding of Clearing systems, e.g. CCP.
23. Proficiency in written and spoken English, German language skills would be an additional asset.
