Your duties
* Maintain positive relationship with students/colleagues/parents
* Assist individuals or small groups of students with specific tasks, e.g. reading, writing, art projects
* Maintain expectations of student behaviour in and out of the classroom to create a well-functioning, positive learning atmosphere in the school
* Assist with supervision of students while in and out of class
* Assist the teacher with the creation and preparation of materials and in creating an attractive and effective learning environment
* Complete school related errands and administrative duties
* Organise and care for classroom materials
* Assist with organisation of class field trips
* Carry out supervision duties at lunch and recess as assigned on duty roster
* Escort students to single subject lessons and to the school buses
* Contribute to the wider school community through active involvement in after-school activities, fieldtrips, overnight trips, etc.
* Maintain professional competence by pursuing professional development opportunities, by taking part in in-services and by engaging in the BIS performance review process
* Model the values and professional demeanour as expressed in the BIS
Your profile
* Qualification as Teacher Assistant
* German language skills are desirable (B1)
* Fluent in written and spoken English
