We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of school and external events.
Event Manager (m/f/d)
* Starting: June 1, 2026
* Employment Type: Full-time
* Contract Type: 2 years
Responsibilities
* Plan, organize, and evaluate all school events (academic functions, social events, fundraisers) from concept through to post-event review
* Develop event concepts, timelines, budgets, and logistics plans in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, staff, and the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
* Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality delivery within budget
* Support the Head of Marketing in promoting events through various communication channels, including email, intranet, newsletters, news blog, and social media
* Oversee event setup and ensure smooth and safe on-site execution
* Manage the school merchandise program, including supplier coordination, purchasing, inventory control, and shop administration
The ideal candidate
* Degree or professional training in Event Management or a related field
* Experience in event planning, ideally in an educational or international setting
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with multicultural awareness
* Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
* Fluency in spoken and written English and German
