Job Description:
For our client, an international building materials company, we are looking for a Head of Sales who will be responsible for the Sandwich Panels Business Unit. The successful candidate will oversee the Western European Markets and can be based anywhere in Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a small sales and customer service team in the local market
* Ensure effective collaboration with key stakeholders and colleagues to align the sales team with other business areas (e.g., operations, production, finance)
* Optimize sales processes in close collaboration with Headquarters
* Act as a point of contact for major clients, support negotiations, and potentially acquire strategic major clients
* Conduct continuous market monitoring to explore new market potentials
* Perform cross-functional sales controlling, including monitoring forecasts, revenues, and other KPIs
* Participate in trade fairs, conferences, and events
Requirements:
* Degree in Business Administration or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in managing a team
* Knowledge or experience of the Sandwich Panels Market in at least one European country
* Service-oriented, sales-focused, and proactive in driving sales activities
* Leadership style characterized by value consciousness and a hands-on mentality
* Fluency in English
