Your Impact
As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will play a central role in designing, implementing, and administering our global compensation and benefits.
You will collaborate closely across Finance, IT, Legal, HR, and senior leadership to ensure global consistency and compliance while enabling local relevance where needed.
What You Will Do
Compensation & Benefits Program Management
* Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Ascom’s global compensation & benefits framework.
* Conduct global market analysis and maintain salary structures to ensure competitiveness and equity.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal governance requirements.
Process Ownership – Global HR Cycles
* Run the annual STI (Short‑Term Incentive) process:
Including template creation, analytics, budget alignment, manager & HR briefings, timelines, and policy updates.
* Manage the LTI (Long‑Term Incentive) program:
Including policy updates, analytics, Finance alignment (accruals), administration, and filing.
* Lead the global Compensation Review cycle:
Process design, tool support, analytics, training for managers & HR, reporting, and budget alignment in collaboration with local HR & Finance.
* Provide guidance in validating job gradings for new/updated roles jointly with Country HR.
Data Analytics & Reporting
* Conduct regular compensation & benefits analytics, identify trends, and support data‑driven decisions.
* Prepare senior management and Board‑level reports
* Maintain and analyze data using HRIS and other tools.
Specialist Topics & Governance
* Support compensation communication and education for selective employee groups (Exec team, LTI/STI beneficiaries, leadership groups).
* Run equal‑pay analysis processes and support Ascom’s commitment to fair and equitable pay .
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
You will work closely with global and local HR teams, Finance, IT, Legal, and business leaders to ensure all compensation and benefits activities are holistically designed and executed across Ascom’s 19+ countries.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Monitor emerging trends in compensation, benefits, and workforce expectations, and integrate them into Ascom’s global programs to maintain competitiveness
* Support process simplification and digitalization across annual HR cycles.
What You Bring
* Strong analytical ability and deep understanding of compensation & benefits principles.
* Experience running global HR processes (STI, LTI, compensation review, grading).
* Expertise in HR data analytics and reporting tools (Excel, HRIS, BI).
* Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions.
* High attention to detail and strong governance mindset.
