Protecnium () is an international consulting firm specialized in engineering and technical services. We are currently looking for Cost Control Engineers / Quantity Surveyors for an industrial construction project
Location: Stade, Germany (100% on-site) .
Estimated duration: 2 years. Upon project completion, we offer relocation to other projects to ensure job continuity.
Language requirement: Upper-intermediate to advanced English level (B2–C1).
Position Summary
We are seeking professionals with a background in civil works, hands-on field experience, and participation in large-scale industrial infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
* Perform all site measurements based on the valid project drawings issued for construction.
* Strictly apply the measurement criteria defined by the client, ensuring proper interpretation.
* Analyze these criteria to determine the most favorable approach.
* Prepare technical documentation supporting the performed measurements.
* Actively participate in technical meetings with the client, discussing and defending the applied criteria and measurements.
* Collaborate with planning, production, and cost control teams to ensure alignment between measurements, execution, and certification.
Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction projects (e.g., nuclear plants, water treatment plants, viaducts, industrial terminals, storage tanks, etc.).
* Previous experience working directly for a construction company on-site (fieldwork with reinforced concrete and steel structures), not solely in technical offices.
* Proven experience in quantity take-offs for civil works: concrete, steel reinforcement, metal structures, foundations, and embedded elements.
* Familiarity with industrial infrastructure works, plant urbanization, and major installations in the energy sector.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Presto .
Working Conditions
* 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday), from 8:00 to 17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break.
