Responsibilities
We are looking for a Software Architect (all genders) Platform to play a key role in shaping the software architecture of our remote access, control, and support solutions. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and evolve our software architecture using the latest technologies and best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, make a tangible impact, and contribute to a culture that values engineering excellence, agility, and teamwork.
* Conceptualize and design platform-independent, scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud / SaaS solutions.
* Develop guidelines and best practices around architecture relevant for the entire organization.
* Create and maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of architectural designs, processes, decisions, and best practices.
* Provide technical leadership, coaching, guidance, and support to our platform development teams on architectural topics.
* Conduct technical assessments, proofs of concept, and evaluate design and implementation approaches.
* Keep up to date with the latest technological trends and advances in software architecture, cloud computing, and related areas, and initiate improvements based on them.
Requirements
* University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or related fields.
* 7+ years of professional experience in object-oriented software development using C++ or .NET (especially C#), with extensive knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MS SQL, Cassandra, or Scylla.
* Proficient in architectural and coding design patterns; distributed, high-availability, and scalable systems; service-oriented architecture (microservices); and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes).
* Familiarity with cloud management platforms and infrastructure automation tools is a plus.
* Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
* Structured, analytical, and team-oriented work approach, with motivation to learn new skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges creatively and efficiently.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills to convey technical solutions clearly.
* Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages such as German are a plus.
