We are looking for a curious and collaborative Senior Engineer to join our Sound & Audiology team within Global R&D. In this role, you will bring your audiological expertise to the full product development cycle — from device optimisation and study design through to verification and validation — helping to shape the next generation of hearing aid technology.
Plan, coordinate and execute audiological device optimisation tasks across platform and hardware product projects
Design, coordinate, conduct and evaluate audiological studies related to hearing aid algorithms, features, apps and accessories with test assessors
Perform audiological and acoustical verification and validation activities for fitting software, apps and features, including documentation and reporting
Collaborate closely with feature experts, software and app development, system architecture and signal processing teams
Provide audiological support and advice to stakeholders including Marketing and Product Management and serve as an audiology expert consultant within and beyond your team — including hearing aid fittings for colleagues and VIPs
3–5 years of experience as an engineer in audio, audiology, acoustics, or hearing aid technology
University degree in Audiology, Audio Engineering, Hearing Aid Technology, Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with perceptual evaluations of sound and designing or conducting studies with hearing aids is a plus
Good knowledge of audiology, psycho-acoustics and signal processing; certification as a hearing care professional is an advantage
Solid skills in Matlab, Python or another programming language
Fluent in English; fluency in German is an advantage
