⭐️ Your Impact:
We are seeking a Venture Development Manager (m/f/d) who will support our partner craft businesses (Handwerksbetriebe & Neugründungen) to grow their top line. This role is crucial to the success of smalt's business — only if our partners are successful themselves will smalt be able to grow its revenue share model. The role combines commercial strategy, marketing experimentation, and hands-on activation. You will work at the intersection of operations, marketing, and technology — driving growth, testing playbooks, and shaping how smalt empowers trades entrepreneurs to scale.
* Onboard and coach new Meister partners through their first months with smalt
* Operate and improve key business processes (offers, invoicing, documentation, workforce planning, etc.)
* Analyse partner performance and design interventions that improve conversion, efficiency, and facilitate growth
* Build and automate scalable workflows using tools like Attio, Make, and smalt's AI stack
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Growth teams to improve the partner experience
* Translate field insights into product requirements and data models that inform smalt's AI
✨ What Makes You a Great Fit:
* 3-5 years of experience in tech, operations, consulting, or VC — ideally with exposure to SaaS, field operations, or vertical software
* Highly structured and analytical — you love building systems and documenting how things work
* Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset — excited to take ownership and work hands-on with partners
* Fluent in German (C2) and English, able to communicate confidently with Meister and business owners
* Comfortable using tools like Attio, Notion, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n)
* (Bonus) Field experience or technical understanding of Elektro, PV, or SHK is a plus
* Location: Berlin preferred (hybrid), with occasional field travel across Germany
