Patent Manager - Litigation Role
This is a challenging position that requires a strong understanding of European and German patent law. As a Patent Manager, you will handle the patent-related support for new product launches as well as for existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will process and respond to validity inquiries or cease-and-desist letters from rights holders, as well as coordinate the filing of protective letters.
* You will work alongside external patent attorneys to challenge third-party technical rights by coordinating nullity, cancellation, and European opposition proceedings.
* In the event of interim injunction proceedings and patent infringement lawsuits, you will take charge of the defense in collaboration with external patent and legal counsel.
* You will prepare decision-makers for market launches that involve patent-related risks.
* You will also be responsible for processing settlement agreements and license agreements.
Requirements:
* A completed degree in chemistry or pharmacy is required.
* Ideal candidates should be qualified patent attorneys or patent assessors.
* Experience and knowledge of European and German patent law are essential.
* You should have experience and a solid understanding of patent litigation.
