We are seeking a long-term Institutional Client Associate to support our Institutional Client Coverage team in Germany. This role is designed explicitly for the institutional client segment, not as a rotational or junior steppingu2011stone position. You will work at the heart of our institutional business, supporting senior sales professionals in covering pension schemes, insurance companies, corporates and fiduciary managers, consultants, foundations, and other regulated professional investors. Primary Responsibilities Institutional Sales & Client Coverage - Support senior sales directors in their direct engagement with institutional investors across Germany. - Prepare highu2011quality pitch books, data packs, dueu2011diligence materials and bespoke analysis tailored to institutional use cases. - Assist in coordinating the full lifecycle of institutional sales processes, including RfPs, DDQs, operational due diligence and consultant interactions. - Conduct research on allocations, regulatory environments (e.g., Solvency II), competitive positioning and relevant institutional market developments. Crossu2011Functional Institutional Collaboration - Liaise with global Portfolio Management, Product Strategy, Client Service, Compliance, Operations and Marketing to deliver precise and timely institutional materials. - Coordinate regular institutional reporting cycles, including performance updates, commentary and risk-related disclosures. Operational Excellence & CRM Management - Maintain a high standard of accuracy within Salesforce for institutional accounts, contacts, reporting pipelines and consultant databases. - Track institutional client interactions and follow-ups efficiently. - Support structured internal processes for institutional RfP workflows, onboarding steps and data requests. Events & Consultant Relations - Support the organization of institutional client events, consultant briefings, investment days, and regulatory-focused sessions. - Assist in building long-term consultant relationships. Qualifications - Graduate degree or equivalent preferred. - Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. - Progress toward IMC, CFA or CAIA is an advantage. Key Requirements - Around 3-4 years of experience within an asset management or institutional investment environment. - Strong interest in institutional asset management, investment products and German regulatory frameworks. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. - Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple institutional workstreams simultaneously. - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. - High affinity for AI-supported tools and workflows, and willingness to integrate AI into daily client-coverage and reporting processes.
