The design, analysis and testing of earth observation, science or exploration missions, including components, instruments or complete systems, always results in exciting tasks for students.
Profile
* Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of mechanical & aerospace engineering; automation engineering; physics studies; computer science or an equivalent field of study.
* Fluent in English and German knowledge would be beneficial.
* Basic thermodynamic and programming knowledge (C++, Python, …) is helpful for working on the following example topics:
* literature research
* support of Phase-0/Phase-A studies
* thermal system modelling and analysis
* Hypersonic Flow Dynamics
* CFD analyses
* FEM analysis
* further development of preand post-processing tools
* planning and implementation of thermal tests
