Position: German Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in German, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
* Develop detailed evaluation rubrics and grading guidelines in German and English.
* Conduct model testing and grading, providing structured feedback to improve performance.
* Support benchmarking and quality assurance, maintaining consistency and reliability.
* Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and improve task design.
* Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
* Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Native or near-native fluency in German (spoken and written) and professional fluency in English.
* Ability to accurately transcribe and analyze German audio content.
* Available to commit 10–20 hours per week.
Preferred
* College students or recent graduates.
* Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.
* Prior experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in German.
* Familiarity with regional dialects and register distinctions.
* Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
