Unit description
The Grid Field Operations Offshore & HVDC (GOG) unit is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of our offshore facilities (platforms and converter stations) and other HVDC transmission facilities (offshore-onshore connection lines). We also carry out base load projects (cat. 1-3) for all offshore facilities. The Grid Field Operations 2GW division is currently being established in order to contribute operational experience during the construction phase of the facilities and to optimally prepare for the operational phase.
As a Service Technician (m/f/d), you will be part of the Operations Offshore & HVDC 2GW team, which ensures that operational requirements are considered during the planning, construction, and commissioning phases of the offshore grid connection system. The team also supports the transition of the facilities into operation and contributes to their ongoing development. In preparation for the operational phase, you will ensure that existing maintenance strategies are applied or adapted as needed to guarantee the long-term availability and technical integrity of the facilities.
For this position, you will work and live abroad (3-5 years) in the yard location Cadiz/Algeciras, Spain from most likely end of 2026 on.
