In our international Strategic Partnering Portfolio and Ecosystems Team, you shape strategic decisions for Siemens Mobility – from M&A to partnering and ventures, with direct Board access and real scope for impact. You take responsibility for strategic projects within the framework of the Mobility Portfolio Strategy as an integral part of the Mobility Portfolio Team. Your main focus is preparing invest & divest decisions (M&A) and developing go-to-market approaches (Business Development) for strategic action areas. You also work closely with our experts for digital ecosystems, partnering, and our startup and venturing program "SMO Startup Station." You prepare portfolio decision templates for the SMO Board as well as for Siemens Corporate departments at C-level and are accountable for their quality. You independently monitor market and competitive developments and design and develop strategic "Buy or Partner" approaches for our Mobility Business Units as well as cross-business-unit topics. As a "Digital Native Expert", you deliver valuable strategic assessments on cross-functional digitalization, technology, and synergy topics in the rail sector. What do you bring along? You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles. You have strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container-based platforms. Furthermore, you have experience implementing GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD or FluxCD) and building CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD. You are experienced with cloud platforms (particullarly AWS) and Python for automation and tooling. You have worked extensively in Linux-based environments and with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu. You are familiar with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace, have experience with operating platform services for multiple development teams as well as cloud-native architectures and microservices, Also, you bring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and collaborate effectively within international, agile teams.
