Description The Propulsion & Steering section is an international team with colleagues in Oslo and Hamburg. As an Approval Engineer, you'll work with ship machinery systems including propellers, thrusters, reduction gears, steering gears, shafting systems, and couplings, along with analyses such as torsional vibration, whirling, and shaft alignment. We collaborate closely with equipment manufacturers, shipyards, design offices, and ship owners/managers, ensuring compliance with DNV classification rules and relevant international regulations.
