Job Description Site Construction Quality Lead Work Location: Germany – Wessling Start Date – 27 th April Project – MoreTec Hours – 48-hour week. Duration – 14 months PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement, maintain, and supervise the Construction Quality Plan throughout the construction phase of the Project. Prepare project-specific quality procedures, as required. Assure compliance with Contract quality requirements, detect non-complying performance areas, and monitor their resolutions by the responsible Project team and management personnel. Review, analyse and offer a resolution for non-conforming materials/items. Review and approve Contractor procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) or designate them to responsible persons. Implement and coordinate project-specific specialised procedures, including maintenance, surveillance, and oversight of the corrective action systems. Assist in the selection, training, development, and supervision of Quality inspection personnel. Perform various Quality reporting activities. Support Construction in the development, communication, and monitoring of Quality priorities. Participate in the safety process. Coordinate inspection and test groups. Liaison with LYB QA representatives. Monitor the quality of procured materials and components. Review and control permanent quality records. Responsible for the approval of inspection and test packages for all systems. Responsible for the assembly of QA / QC documents for turnover packages. Supervise & direct Third-Party Inspection contracts. Provide data as needed for the monthly and final Project reports. Review of construction Contractor quality deliverables required after Contract award and before the start of construction. Including but not limited to Contractor PQP; QA/QC procedures, ITPs and Inspection record forms. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Experience with working QA in new construction projects in Germany Fluent in both German & English language Minimum of 15 years Quality Management experience Experience in Quality management systems implementation, audit, analysis and improvement Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Must be proactive and possess good organisational, communication and inter-personnel skills PREFERRED SKILLS Practical experience and knowledge of: National and international manufacturing codes and specifications Destructive and non-destructive testing methods; Manufacturing techniques and processes; Quality Assurance and Quality Control specifications, systems and practices; Successful completion of ISO9001:2015 Lead Assessor training course
