Job Description
As Finance Junior Analyst (f_m_d) – Marketing & Overhead Controlling, you will manage financial processes related to marketing and overhead expenses, ensuring accurate financial tracking, effective budgeting, and insightful forecasting for Germany, Austria, and the broader Central & Northern Europe (C&NE) region.
Job Purpose
This role aims to deliver precise financial control and reporting of marketing and overhead budgets, support strategic financial decisions with accurate analytics, and maintain strong collaboration between the finance, marketing, and controlling departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with marketing and controlling departments: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the marketing and controlling departments, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed.
* Responsibility for actual tracking, forecast and budget planning of marketing and overhead cost: Ensure accurate forecast uploads of marketing budgets for region C&NE and lead overhead cost planning and tracking for Germany & Austria.
* Complete monthly and year-end tasks: Perform all necessary tasks related to monthly and year-end financial processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and reports are accurate.
* Support quarterly forecast planning for German market: Assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly forecast plans, providing accurate data and insights to support decision-making.
* Create reports for Region Central & Northern Europe: Generate accurate and comprehensive reports for the Region Central & Northern Europe, ensuring all relevant data is included and presented clearly.
* Provide ad-hoc reporting: Offer timely and accurate ad-hoc reports on issues related to your responsibilities, addressing any urgent needs or requests from management.
* Support in supervising and coordinating tasks for a working student: Support in supervising of working student, including onboarding and guidance as well as effective delegation of workload and integration into daily operations.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
* Academic degree in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* First relevant professional experience in finance or controlling, excluding internships or working student roles.
* Proficiency with SAP R/3, particularly in invoicing and financial documentation is a plus.
* Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
* Strong analytical and numerical aptitude, with attention to detail.
* Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
* Fluent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken.
