Job Description The Principal Engineer - Steering Performance Development will primarily work from system requirements to system validation, focusing on control function design, system-level integration, and testing. Research, develop, design, and tune steering features such as steering feel characteristics. Integrate SbW systems with vehicle dynamics controllers (brake, ADS/ADAS, VDC). Conduct vehicle-level testing and calibration to validate steering feel and system robustness. Utilize tools such as Vector tools, dSpace, and Matlab-Simulink for modeling and verification. Support functional safety and cybersecurity compliance for SbW systems. Contribute to HMI strategy for natural driver interaction with digital steering. Candidate Profile Master's or higher degree in Electronics with a focus on software development or related field. 5+ years of experience in developing control systems for Steering or SbW. Proven expertise in designing and deploying control algorithms for SbW, especially in autonomous driving systems (nice to have). Enthusiastic team player with fluent English communication skills. Role eligible for relocation and/or visa sponsorship. Involved in international travel outside of Europe.
