As a Financial Consolidation Consultant, you'll lead projects end-to-end, from blueprint to go-live, working directly with CFOs and IT leaders. This role requires someone who can translate complex financial requirements into practical solutions – no buzzwords, just expertise that builds client trust. Projects typically run for 4–8 months and involve long-term client partnerships. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Steer projects from kick-off to completion in high-performing teams of 2-4 consultants, taking ownership of deliverables and timelines. Advise clients on both functional and technical aspects of financial consolidation, building trusted relationships. Shape and implement the processes that enable CFOs to meet reporting deadlines with confidence and accuracy. What We're Looking For (Must-Have Qualifications): A University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, IT, or a similar field. 2-5 years of relevant experience in consulting, audit, or corporate finance with exposure to consolidation processes. A strong understanding of financial consolidation principles under HGB/IFRS Familiarity with consolidation tools such as SAP (including SAP Financial Consolidation), Tagetik, LucaNet, or similar solutions. Experience with at least one of these platforms is highly valuable. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and customer orientation. A self-organized and hands-on personality, comfortable with ambiguity and eager to drive practical solutions. Fluent German (C1) and English (C1) are essential for client communication and documentation. Willingness to travel; 80% of customers are in the DACH Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Nice-to-Haves: Experience from top-tier consulting firms or audit (e.g., Big4, PKF, valantic, etc.). Additional languages. Broader knowledge in corporate performance management systems.
