Job Title
The Director of Software Project Management oversees the planning and execution of software projects from inception to delivery.
Responsibilities include:
* Project Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with organizational objectives, taking into account scope, timelines, and resources.
* Work Package Definition: Lead the definition of work packages and breakdown of project tasks into manageable components, ensuring alignment with project KPIs.
* Digital Tool Adoption: Drive the adoption and integration of digital tools and technologies to streamline project management processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
* Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the project management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture conducive to digital transformation and achievement of project KPIs.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with wind energy projects and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
* Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and standards to uphold the highest level of quality and reliability in project deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale wind energy projects while meeting project KPIs. They will possess strong leadership abilities, experience in leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency in project management tools and software.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Advanced degree or relevant certifications (PMP, IPMA, etc.).
* Proven 8+ years of experience in wind project management.
* Familiarity with different working methodologies, including waterfall management, Hybrid Agile project management, and lean methodologies.
