We're seeking talented individuals to contribute to our research and development endeavors through Doctoral Candidate positions. The Robert Bosch GmbH invites applications for a position that involves studying sensor data fusion techniques in automotive applications and developing innovative solutions using ISAC mechanisms.
The project will focus on evaluating new concepts and mechanisms using simulation and analytical tools. Specifically, you'll investigate how distributed sensing improves sensing performance using devices/network infrastructure and jointly analyse sensing performance including non-3GPP sensing measurements.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our team to develop cutting-edge solutions addressing the challenges of 6G key technologies during secondments at prestigious institutions. This role requires:
* An undergraduate degree and a postgraduate master's degree (or equivalent) in electronic or electrical engineering, mathematics, electromagnetics, or physical sciences.
* Excellent mathematical skills, high proficiency in programming software such as Matlab, Python, C++, or similar.
* A solid background in wireless communications, radar sensing, and/or hardware demonstrators.
In addition to technical expertise, you'll need:
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
