You will lead a team of 10 highly professional salespeople (all genders) based in Germany, Poland, and Switzerland. Your role involves steering the long-term sales strategy for these countries, implementing business development for new applications and industries. Your daily focus will be on achieving short-term sales results. Our regional marketing team, technical support, and supply chain will work closely with you and your team to deliver high-quality results to our customers in the Coatings, Plastics, Printing, and Cosmetics industries.
As part of the regional leadership team, you will report to the regional manager for EMEA.
The Surface Solutions business unit, a mid-sized multinational leader in the pigments industry, is planned to be divested to Global New Materials International (GNMI), headquartered in China, effective August 1st, 2025. This role will be part of that divestment process.
Who you are:
* Experienced sales manager in a B2B environment with 5+ years of business experience.
* Team manager in a cross-border setup with 3+ years of leadership experience.
* Strategic thinker with a proven track record of aligning short- and long-term goals.
* Willing to travel up to 60% within the region.
* Master's degree in Science or Engineering (preferably).
* An MBA would be advantageous.
