We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SAP Sales Performance Management (SPM) consultant with knowledge in Incentive Management (IM) or Agent Performance Management (APM) to join our SPM Practice. This role demands deep functional and technical module expertise. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SPM IM, SAP APM, Data Integration, Reporting, and Configuration.
What you will do
6. Design, configure, and optimize highly complex incentive compensation plans, including multi-tier, multi-currency, territory-based, and performance-based models, within SAP SPM IM or APM.
7. Deep expertise in configuring and troubleshooting remuneration elements, rules, formulas, assignments, workflow processes, and reporting structures.
8. Lead the integration of SAP SPM IM or APM with other SAP modules (e.g., Employee Central, Payroll, S/4HANA, Sales Cloud) and external systems using various integration technologies (e.g., APIs, CPI).
9. Proficient in data modeling, data quality management, and complex data loads within the SAP SPM IM or APM environment.
10. Lead and manage the full lifecycle of SAP SPM IM or APM implementations, from pre-sales support and discovery to design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
11. Act as a trusted advisor to clients/stakeholders, understanding their business challenges, advising on best practices, and translating complex business requirements into robust SAP SPM IM or APM solutions.
12. Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solutioning, effort estimation, and presenting proposals to prospective clients.
13. Lead and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance on best practices, solution design, and professional development.
14. Conduct peer reviews of design documents and configurations.
15. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
16. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including client business users, IT teams, and other consulting partners.
17. Provide strategic guidance on incentive compensation best practices, industry trends, and the capabilities of SAP SPM IM or APM to drive business value.
18. Conduct system health checks, performance tuning, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of existing IM solutions.
19. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to executive-level stakeholders.
20. Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including blueprint documents, functional specifications, test plans, and training materials.
21. Lead knowledge transfer sessions for client teams to ensure self-sufficiency post-implementation.
What we are looking for
Requirements
22. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Incentive Management (IM) or Agent Performance Management (APM). This should include leading at least 3-5 full-cycle implementations.
23. Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science or business informatics) or other equivalent experience
24. Deep functional and technical expertise in all core components of SAP SPM IM or APM, including plan configuration, rules, quotas, territories, data loaders, workflows, and reporting.
25. Proven experience integrating SAP SPM IM or APM with other SAP solutions (e.g., FS-CD, ERP, CRM) and third-party systems.
26. Strong understanding of incentive compensation methodologies, plan design principles, and industry best practices across various sectors (e.g., High-Tech, Pharma, Financial Services).
27. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges and propose effective solutions.
28. Excellent client-facing, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
29. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
30. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
31. Fluent in English and German (oral and writing)
