Data Center Technician
Join our team as a Data Center Technician to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global infrastructure. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
Responsibilities:
* Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent failures and ensure continuous operation.
* Safety Procedures: Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
* Certification or Diploma: Apprentice/trades certified or diploma in an Electrical field.
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations and on-call support for Data Center facilities / or Mission Critical Plants/ Production facilities.
* Knowledge: Solid IT skills; experience and knowledge of MS Office suite.
