Overview

Our client is a leading global consulting firm with a strong reputation for delivering evidence-based insights and strategic advice to the life sciences industry. The firm partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology companies to address complex commercial, pricing, and business strategy challenges worldwide.

You will play a pivotal leadership role within the firm’s Life Sciences practice, driving the continued expansion of its commercial strategy and pricing capabilities across Europe. This position is ideal for a proven seller-doer, a leader who combines deep subject matter expertise with the entrepreneurial energy to develop, win, and deliver high-impact client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive significant and profitable revenue growth through the development and expansion of client relationships, with an expectation to independently generate sold and delivered business.
* Lead business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and relationship cultivation with senior executives across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.
* Identify emerging market opportunities and design strategies to expand the firm’s presence in commercial strategy, pricing, and business growth.
* Serve as a trusted adviser to clients, providing strategic insight and practical solutions to complex commercial challenges.
* Advance the firm’s intellectual capital through innovative client work, publications, and conference presentations.
* Shape and influence the firm’s perspective on commercial strategy and pricing trends across Europe and globally.
* Collaborate with colleagues internationally to develop integrated offerings that leverage the firm’s multi-disciplinary expertise in life sciences strategy, policy, and economics.
* Actively mentor, coach, and develop high-performing consulting teams.

Qualifications

* Strong track record in developing and leading client relationships within commercial strategy, pricing, or business development, ideally within a consulting environment.
* Demonstrated success in winning and delivering multi-million-euro consulting engagements.
* Deep understanding of European commercial strategy, pricing, and market dynamics; global exposure advantageous.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in life sciences, economics, public health, or a related discipline.
* Willingness to be on site in Munich at least three days per week and travel as required.
