About the Legal Role
SECO Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to manage and prevent legal risks related to technical inspection activities, ensuring the company's legal compliance and governance.
Main Responsibilities
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and suppliers.
* Provide legal support on complex cases in collaboration with engineers and management.
* Analyze and manage disputes related to construction projects.
Key Accountabilities
* Ensure legal compliance for SECO entities.
* Prepare and assist in organizing Board of Directors meetings.
* Oversee internal procedures and compliance with local regulations.
Collaborative Team Member
* Act as the main legal point of contact for external stakeholders.
* Work closely with the General Manager, HR Department, and operational teams.
* Promote internal awareness of legal matters through training sessions, memos, and procedures.
Requirements
* Master's degree in Law, preferably in Business Law and/or Construction Law.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or in a law firm, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.
* Strong knowledge of Luxembourg law and contractual practices in the construction industry.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills; pragmatic, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Fluent in French and English (German or Luxembourgish would be an asset).
