Technical Lead for Energy Transition
We are seeking a seasoned technical lead to drive growth and excellence in our energy portfolio.
* Job Description:
* Lead energy projects, oversee technical delivery in Germany, ensure technical excellence and skills development, and be a growth leader and advocate of our company in Germany through trusted relationships with existing and new energy clients.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Strategy
o Develop and implement our Energy strategy in Germany
o Define and execute clear project and program delivery strategies
* Project Delivery and Technical Excellence
o Lead multidisciplinary teams across regions and business lines
o Ensure that technical solutions comply with German and EU regulations, grid codes, safety, and environmental standards
o Oversee the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget
o Provide expert guidance and serve as lead verifier for feasibility studies, design reports, and technical documentation
o Ensure accurate technical and financial reporting to senior leadership
o Manage contracts and ensure full compliance with our requirements
* Team Development and Innovation
o Build, mentor, and lead our Energy team in Germany
o Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and digital innovation
o Support technical skills development and capability building within the team
o Champion operational excellence and best practices in energy project delivery
* Profile:
* A proven track record delivering complex energy projects in the German energy sector
* Strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV electrical systems
* Degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in High Voltage Electrical Engineering
* Data Center experience is an advantage
* A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, ideally within the energy sector (public and/or private)
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with authorities, network operators, contractors, and suppliers
* Excellent communication skills in both German and English
