Grant Thornton Luxembourg is seeking an Experienced Auditor to join their team.
This role will involve working with a diversified client portfolio at national and international level, providing high-quality audit services in a self-sufficient way while supervising a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client engagements from start to finish;
* Supervise, train and mentor juniors and interns on audit processes and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews;
* Collaborate with the audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process;
* Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services;
* Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements;
* Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality;
* Participate in professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Audit, Economics, Accountancy or Finance;
* 2-4 years' experience in External Audit, ideally in a Fiduciary in Luxembourg;
* Fluent in French and English or German and English (any other language is considered an asset);
* Interested or has already started a professional qualification (IRE, CA..);
* Technical accounting skills with proficiency in ISA and IFRS;
* Proactivity, rigor, and results-oriented;
* Excellent analytical, organizational skills;
* Attention to detail and willingness to take on responsibilities within the team.
