Your Contribution
As Key Account Manager - Strategic Growth & Innovation (DACH) you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with our most important customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. While your primary focus will be the DACH region, there is also the possibility to expand your responsibilities to other European territories based on business needs, giving you the opportunity to broaden your impact and drive growth across a wider market.
A key part of your role will be identifying and engaging new key accounts and nurturing existing ones, expanding our footprint in the region, and driving long-term growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, aligning their needs with our solutions portfolio and orchestrating internal collaboration to deliver exceptional value. You’ll work closely with Technical Sales Specialists, Inside Sales, Customer Success, and Area Sales Managers to ensure seamless execution and customer intimacy.
You will be part of a dynamic team with representation across major European markets. Your contribution will be defined by strategic thinking, relationship-building, commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering premium customer experience.

Reporting directly to the Key Account Director, you will have the leadership support and autonomy needed to thrive in your role.

1. Own and grow strategic customer relationships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with potential expansion into other European territories.
2. Identify, engage, and develop new key accounts in the region.
3. Build and execute account plans to meet revenue and growth targets.
4. Lead commercial negotiations and manage complex deal structures.
5. Collaborate with Technical Sales, Inside Sales, and Area Sales Managers teams to deliver integrated solutions.
6. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
7. Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product and service development.
8. Track and report on account performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
9. Represent FLIR at key customer meetings, events, and exhibitions.

To Be Ready to Take on This Role We Would Love If You Have
11. A passion for building long-term customer relationships and engaging new strategic accounts.
12. Strong commercial and strategic mindset.
13. Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
14. Experience managing large accounts in a technical or industrial environment.
15. Ability to travel up to 50% across the DACH region, with flexibility to support other European territories if required.
