For our sales team we are looking for new team members as Director Sales and Business Development EMEA (f/m/d) Your Tasks Lead a team of regional sales managers to drive revenue growth by aligning regional strategies with organizational goals. Identify and develop new business opportunities — conducting research, analysing market trends, and using data to uncover growth areas and competitive advantages. Plan and execute regional business strategies — including market penetration plans & business acquisition strategies based on ongoing market assessments. Lead relationship-building efforts — maintaining strong relationships with existing and new potential clients to expand the regional network. Manage lead generation and pipeline development — overseeing activities that generate new opportunities, including OEM or partner leads, and ensuring CRM systems are used effectively. Promote products and services — work closely with product marketing colleagues in communicating value propositions & business case models clearly to clients and partners. Develop short ‑ term forecasts — create weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections for revenue, pipeline health, lead flow, and regional performance based on current data, market signals, and sales activity. Serve as a bridge between the regional teams and corporate leadership, ensuring alignment and accountability. Your Profile Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities Proven track record in B2B strategic sales, ideally within the clean energy, battery electrification or power electronics sectors. Strong understanding of the EV charging & battery energy storage systems ( BESS) or related industry sectors is a plus. Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English, across all hierarchical levels of the customer, are essential; additional languages are desirable Ability to manage budgets and prepare consolidated forecasts. P roficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. You have completed a technical or commercial vocational training, or hold an academic degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration with a strong technical focus. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
